چکیده

Purpose: To evaluate the protective effect of cavidine against asthma in neonatal mice.
Methods: Neonatal mice were treated with at doses 5 and 10 mg/kg, po, 2 h prior to induction ovalbumin (OVA) on 1st 14th days treatment protocol. The anti-asthma activity was evaluated by determining number inflammatory cells cytokine levels broncho-alveolar lavage fluid (BALF) OVA-specific IgE TGF-β 1 serum OVAsensitized mice. NF-ƙB PI3K protein expression determined lung tissues OVA-sensitized Results: Cavidine attenuated cytokines BALF decreased significantly cavidine-treated groups, when compared asthmatic group mice, while downregulated (p < 0.01). altered signaling cavidinetreated sensitized OVA.
Conclusion: These results reveal that OVA-induced occurs via reduction inflammation immune responsive linked PI3Ks/ NF-κB pathway tissues. findings suggest may be clinically suitable for management asthma.

Dimethyl itaconate protects against lipopolysaccharide-induced endometritis by inhibition of TLR4/NF-κB and activation of Nrf2/HO-1 signaling pathway in mice

Objective(s): Endometritis is the inflammation of the uterine lining that is associated with infertility. It affects milk production and reproductive performance and leads to huge economic losses in dairy cows. Dimethyl itaconate (DI), a promising chemical agent, has recently been proved to have multiple health-promoting effects. However, the effects of DI on endometri...

Protosappanin A protects against atherosclerosis via anti- hyperlipidemia, anti-inflammation and NF-κB signaling pathway in hyperlipidemic rabbits

Objective(s): Protosappanin A (PrA) is an effective and major ingredient of Caesalpinia sappan L. The current study was aimed to explore the effect of PrA on atherosclerosis (AS). Materials and Methods: Firstly, the experimental model of AS was established in rabbits by two-month feeding of high fat diet. Then, the rabbits were randomly divided into five groups and treated with continuous high ...

Demethyleneberberine Protects against Hepatic Fibrosis in Mice by Modulating NF-κB Signaling

Demethyleneberberine (DMB) is an essential metabolite of Berberine (BBR) in vivo. Recent reports have revealed multiple novel therapeutic applications of BBR. However, the pharmacological activities of DMB remain to be elucidated. This study aimed to demonstrate the hepatoprotective and anti-fibrotic effects of DMB both in vitro and in vivo. Here we showed that DMB protects against thioacetamid...

Baicalein protects against endothelial cell injury by inhibiting the TLR4/NF-κB signaling pathway

The involvement of vascular endothelial injury with the pathophysiological process of heart failure has been identified. Baicalein (BAI), a flavonoid extracted from the root of Scutellaria baicalensis, is reported to exert antibacterial, antiviral, antithrombotic and antioxidant effects. The aim of the present study was to investigate the effects of BAI on lipopolysaccharide (LPS)‑induced vascu...

Qishenyiqi Protects Ligation-Induced Left Ventricular Remodeling by Attenuating Inflammation and Fibrosis via STAT3 and NF-κB Signaling Pathway

AIM Qi-shen-yi-qi (QSYQ), a formula used for the routine treatment of heart failure (HF) in China, has been demonstrated to improve cardiac function through down-regulating the activation of the Renin-Angiotensin-Aldosterone System (RAAS). However, the mechanisms governing its therapeutic effects are largely unknown. The present study aims to demonstrate that QSYQ treatment can prevent left ven...
